This introduction course will outline the fundamentals of lean and how it is applied in the auto collision repair industry. It is a great preliminary look into lean auto body and will help set the time for more intensified classes.

-Introduction to 5S and the Visual Body Shop

-Introduction to Kanban Material Replenishment
5S and the Visual Body Shop
Module Length: 3 Hours
This course is a highly detailed curriculum covering the implementation of 5S and the visual workplace. 5S is an aggressive organization and cleanliness philosophy that has a profound impact on productivity and maximizing time. It is the foundational element of LEAN auto body and will be the catalyst for future ongoing improvements. Highly visual with lots of pictures of body shops and non-body shops. This is the most important LEAN auto body course.
Lean Parts Room
Module Length: 2 Hours
This course offers a look into setting up LEAN parts room and will specifically look at layout, material replenishment, parts carts, visual signals to the floor, and the visual parts room. It will teach you how to reduce inventory levels, create a replenishment system to the shop, and reduce cost in the parts room.
Lean Repair Flow and Visual Control
Module Length: 2 Hours
The final online course we offer is to show how to create better flow in the body shop in respect to automobiles, information parts, and material. It will provide an introductory look at moving towards a more linear process. The class will cover various calculations needed to become linear and help you better understand the importance of becoming a production facility for repairs.
